Welcome to St. Paul's Lutheran Church!
Being transformed by God's grace to love and serve.
Our Guiding Principles

We begin with scripture, the living and breathing Word of God, so we believe:

God is revealed to us as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Father speaks for all the world to hear,

the Son loves and welcomes all,

and the Holy Spirit strengthens and sustains our faith.

Because of who God is and what God has done for us, we value:

Spreading the Good News which points us to the cross and brings the world hope.

Being rooted in tradition, while moving forward and being made new.

Making space to listen for God’s voice in order to learn and grow.

Because of what we believe and value, we live out:

Sacraments (acting out the commands of Jesus) –

Sharing Holy Communion with a table open to all.

Baptizing disciples of all ages and affirming our baptism throughout our lives.

Using our gifts to serve the church, our community, and the world.

Remaining open to the Holy Spirit leading us to new places.

Praying to remain connected to God and one another.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is one of nearly 10,000 congregations across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands who share an identity as being a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).

Our congregation is a part of the Central States Synod, one of 65 synods in the ELCA. The word ‘synod’ literally means making a way together. The Central States Synod connects the congregations located in Missouri and Kansas.

We are proud to be an important part of the community here in Cole Camp, loving God, serving our neighbor, and working to make this world a better place.
